Calculation of Pokemon Go battle energy charging speed (stiffness time) and number of normal attacks required when using special attack (feat. Pokemon Go normal skills, special skill data provided)

 

In my blog, normal and special skills are provided in the form of data as follows.

Among the data below, it can be easily understood as power => attack power, but

The rest of the data may be incomprehensible because it is written in English or is not in terms that make sense at first glance.

Among them, I am going to explain this for those who are curious about the speed of the energy difference in Pokemon Go battles.

1) Above, the stiffness frame and the stiffness time (seconds) are data on the attack speed, and it means the time it takes for one attack.

(2) This is the amount of energy that the Eptank can acquire in the first attack.

(3) The energy required for one use (the energy column in the table) is arranged in the special skill.

=> In other words, Swampert with the Mud Shot Normal skill gets 9 energy when attacking 1 time, and 40/9 = 4.44 attacks.

It means that you can charge the energy to use the hydrocannon.

However, in actual battles between Pokémon, 4.44 attacks do not exist.

(Mathematically, it can be said that the number of normal descriptions is made in the integer section @.@)

Divisible by 40 in multiples of 9 / 40(1*2*2*2*5) = 9*40/40

=> If you attack 40 times, you can use the 9th special skill.

45 (use 5 mudshots) / 40 = 1.125 times => use special attack 1 time

90 (use 10 mudshots) / 40 = 2.25 times => use special attack 2 times

135 (15 uses of mud shots) / 40 = 3.375 times => 3 uses of special attacks

180 (uses 20 mudshots) / 40 = 4.5 times => uses special attacks 4 times

225 (25 Mud Shots) / 40 = 5.625 => 5 Special Attacks

270 (30 uses of mud shot) / 40 = 6.75 times => 6 uses of special attack

315 (35 uses of mud shot) / 40 = 7.875 times => 7 uses of special attack

360 (40 uses of Mud Shot) / 40 = 9 times => Uses special attack 9 times

=> You need to use Mud Shot 40 times to get 1+1 efficiency for special attacks.

Judging from the above, there seems to be no case in which Swampert uses a mud shot to suddenly launch a special skill multiple times within the same number of attacks with a hydro cannon.

First of all, I think it would be interesting to put this together and see if there are actually Pokémon with this 1+1 efficiency.

(However, it's not easy, you have to organize your data or your head to see what normal and special skills each Pokémon has)
